Ta'Khara

Ta'Khara has spent hundreds of years entirely on her own at this point, minus one crucial relationship to keep her away from hermit status:  Her one friend, an innocent sphinx by the name of Erotimatiko.  Until recently, the sphinx held only feral forms, which made friendship even easier between the self-exiled Nefali and the male.   Before long, they'd become nearly inseperable, helping each other exist within the walls of the Tether that they had made their home, cunningly using Khara's shapeshifting abilities to avoid detection.

The relationship itself can be strained at times.  Due to extreme and barbaric mating rituals within the Sphinx community, Ero grew up with a terrified childlike view of intimacy.  Due to being as ancient of a creature as the Nefali themselves, they are  immune from the effects of the Nefali voices.  This made Ero the first creature that Ta'Khara could have a true relationship with, while simultaneously making him entirely disinterested in her very nature.  She's slowly fallen in love with the sphinx over the years, though she has no expectations.

Most recently, her Sphinx has gained the ability to walk on two legs, meaning the inevitable branch back out into the world.  The thought of returning to the company of people and the impulses of her kind cause a ton of anxiety for the Siren-Shade... but ultimately, she'll follow her friend in whatever endeavor he chooses now that she's found someone she can be close to.
