Nefali feed off of lust and admiration.  At full strength, they're quicker and more agile than most species. Their ability to shift between realms is more fluid, and they show no signs of aging or fatigue.  Typically, this is done by using their voices to entrance prey. Any physical intimacy can be used to feed on energy, though it MUST involve contact.

NOT feeding normally can cause abilities to act up, sometimes stranding the Nefali in one specific realm, and in dire situations, splinch them between the two, almost always causing death.

Ta'Khara, in contrast to her fellow Nefali, avoids using her speaking voice if at all possible.  Not that she cares so much about the effects she can have on others, so much as that she has always craved true love, admiration and friendship... Not a feigned state caused by her inherent abilities.  To accomplish this, she's kept herself secluded, with her only friend being a Sphinx almost as old as herself, who she has no effect on, and whom is generally naive to her nature and feeding habits.
